This is a 3/0 size reel that has all the characteristics of a 4/0 with an awesome drag that can be set at 15lbs on strike and 20lbs on Max. With a lever drag, cast control system and two speeds of 6.0 and 2.8 to 1, this is the perfect reel for bottom fishing, trolling, chunking or jigging. Weighing in at 24 ounces this reel is light but extremely strong and powerful. Very popular for both inshore and offshore species such as giant seabass or cod, this reel is right at home fighting big tuna or wahoo. The LX comes with a molded grip power handle, beautifully etched tuna sideplate and mounting clamp. Load this up with 300 yards of 65lb braid topped off with 100 yards of 50lb mono and you will be all set to tackle the big ones.
