Awesome Reel September 5, 2008
I never bought a $200 reel before but when my buddy showed me his, I had to get one. I love it. Definately a quality reel. The spool spins so freely, my buddy and I are going to add some magnets this winter to slow it down.
We primarily use the reels for bass from our kayaks. We have been fortunate and caught a few 40+ inchers (30-pounders) and the reels worked flawlessly. The drag is consistent (unlike some of my other reels) and easily changed. My friend landed a 49-pounder from a charter in Buzzards Bay with no problem.
I recommend this reel to anyone looking for a quality performer.
